Preparatory course Digital Arts
The most important course at AFAD is independent studio work, during which students create their own art pieces under the guidance of teachers. In the first year of Digital Arts programme, studio work takes the form of a preparatory course. Alongside artistic creation, it is oriented towards building work habits in the implementation of larger-scale projects.
Compared to upper year studios where you create 1 project per semester, the preparatory course includes 2-3 smaller projects per semester. During these projects, you learn to plan your work, present and consult your work in progress, and are introduced to the technologies and workflows at AFAD.
